Sony Alpha NEX-5N is a compact Alpha camera with interchangeable lens which can give you solid quality, features, and performance that you’d yearn for in a camera of this price range. It also gives you good value for money. This camera can shoot photos quite well and the noise profile too is excellent. In my tests, the JPEG’s were looking clean and there was no artifact either till ISO 400. At the ISO 800 and later, I saw some smearing and noise suppression. Also, the Sony Alpha NEX-5N made the subjects look pretty clean even when I went as high as ISO 1600 but there were artifacts seen on peripheral areas.
