Kodak’s New EasyShare M590
Kodak has proclaimed its all new EasyShare M590 digital camera. The EasyShare M590 promises to be a great option for the consumers who are looking for a consumer class digital camera having rather intelligent controls devoid of having to contrivance with the dials and knobs that are seeing on the conventional dSLRs. Although this compact camera won’t be able to offer you the versatility of an actual DSLR or Micro Four Thirds shooter, but the camera for sure is dummy-proof. The camera comes with intelligent controls such as the processor of the camera picks all the settings to click your favorite moments. Kodak dubs its all new EasyShare M590 as “vital social networking accomplice for people who like sharing their pics”. Hmmm, but is it really that? The answer to it depends upon the definition [...]

Kodak EasyShare Z981 – Nothing More Than Striking Specs And Price
The Kodak EasyShare Z981 is a postscript addition in Kodak’s camera lineup. The camera was released at CES 2010, but was not displayed alongside the other cameras that were launched at the same time. The only thing that we feel ties the EasyShare Z981 with the rest of the offerings from Kodak is the sharing button of the camera and the in-built software for sharing the photos on the online sharing website or for getting shots off to family and friends. Apart from all these the camera is rather sloppy with some of the basic features missing. Also the performance delivered by the camera is pretty average with really conflicting photo quality and a fairly clunky design.
Though, for the budgets buyers we have good news, the camera is rather cheap. The MSRP of EasyShare Z981 is well under the [...]

Kodak EasyShare Z915 Digital Camera – Nice Pocket Megazoom
The Kodak EasyShare Z915 digital camera is one of the very few sub-$200 compact cameras in the market that offers much more than what their price suggests. The EasyShare Z915 is a pocket Megazoom camera that comes with a wide range of feature set including completely automatic and manual shooting options. The camera also is a bit complicated and offers faster performance than many of its competitors. The camera also has certain photo quality issues, but that all depends upon how you use your photos and how natural do you like your colors to be.
Build and Design:
The Kodak EasyShare Z915 digital camera has a 10x optical zoom and despite this the camera is compact enough to get into handbags and large pants pocket comfortably. The camera is available [...]

Kodak Playsport Review – An Okay Mini-camcorder
The Kodak Playsport aka the Zx3 is the fruition of Kodak's Zx1. While the Zx1 was a weather resistant model, the all new Playsport is waterproof up to 10 feet or can survive underwater down to 9.8 feet. The camera also has plenty of enhancements that make it a more potent pocket friendly camera, both in and out of the water.
Though, considering the price of the camcorder there actually isn’t much to complain about, but still we feel that people looking for wide assortment of features or great shooting capabilities should keep looking somewhere else. But, if you are in hunt of an inexpensive HD pocket video camera, which can easily handle the external environments like a dip in the pool or a hike in the woods or even some time in the windy weather, then the Kodak Playsport, is the perfect [...]

Kodak EasyShare Z950 Review – Respectable Compact for Patient Shooters
Kodak EasyShare Z950 is a rather dry camera, but in a pleasing way. The only thing that Kodak EasyShare Z950 looks speaking to you is “Use me for what I am meant to” i.e. it’s a straightforward camera and expecting anything beyond taking pictures from it is erroneous. The most exciting thing about Kodak EasyShare Z950 is its 35mm equivalent lens with 10x zoom, in its comparatively compact body.
The lens here isn’t even the wide-angle lens which most of the camera manufacturers are using as an attraction point. There aren’t any bizarre shooting options available here, but there are manual and semi-manual controls. If you have no problems with its vaguely fussy shooting performance, the Kodak EasyShare Z950 is a sensibly priced camera with 10x zoom and uncomplicated point-and-shoot [...]

Kodak EasyShare M381 Review – Down-To-Earth Ultra Compact
Just as any other point-and-shoot ultra compact the real attraction for Kodak EasyShare M381 also lies in its simplicity. But there isn’t much in the camera beyond simplicity and it has really little to offer apart from 3 inch LCD, reliable Smart Capture auto mode and 5x zoom. This is the reason why the attraction of M381 gets limited.
Especially if you look at the immense competition going on within its price range, you’ll find that it really is a tough sell. But just if Kodak would have launched it under its $170 MSRP, it would have been a great choice for the casual snap shooters; but the expert shooters still have to keep looking, even if you want to stick with Kodak, then look the other M-series models by Kodak.
