Though, we still haven’t heard any conformation from Casio, on when they will enter the market or for how much will they be available in market, but we have a conformation of new pocket shooters being launched by the Japanese camera making giant – Casio. Casio is one of the coveted camera manufacturers in the world and is known for its new innovations and development for the shooters. So keeping up with its reputation in the market, Casio once again has offered something new and improved for the pocket shooters.

The new couple of pocket shooter, we are talking about here are the Casio EX-S200 and the Casio EX-Z800. These two models are the standard 14.1 megapixel compacts cameras having 720p of video recording and 4x optical zoom. In addition to all this the pair of pocket shooters also comes with Exilim Engine 5.0 processing launched by the company this year and the evidently fire-and-forget Premium Auto mode.

We are not sure of you finding any surprises here in the cameras or even aren’t sure of you finding any specific reason to pick one over the other, but still  we would like to tell that the S200 is comparatively thinner and comes with an instant-on Quick Mode and an autofocus assist lamp. On the other hand the Casio EX-Z800 is comparatively shorter and lighter in both the directions.

The “super resolution zoom” we mentioned in the title of the article is nothing but a marketing gimmick for the 6x digital zoom in addition to algorithms which hopefully will reduce image degradation, but in general you still are blowing up those pixels.
